Every Cake Smash session is completely custom-designed. Each backdrop is hand-crafted right here in our studio — not printed or fabric-based — ensuring your setup is unique to your baby.
We’ll work closely with you before your session to choose the perfect theme, colours, and decorations. To complete the look, our professional giant cupcakes are made to match your chosen theme perfectly — they’re as beautiful as they are delicious!

Cake Smash & Splash Session (Most Popular!)
A full celebration experience featuring:
- Portraits: We begin with simple milestone photos featuring props like wooden “ONE” letters — capturing your baby’s bright eyes and curious expressions.
- Cake Smash: Then the fun begins! We bring out your themed cake, and your baby sets the pace — whether they dive in or take their time, every moment is full of personality.
- Splash Time: After the cake fun, it’s time for a bubbly clean-up! Babies love splashing in our warm bubble bath — it’s the perfect way to finish the session with smiles and giggles.
💕 Session Details
- Studio Session Fee: £130
Includes 1–2 hours in our private Edinburgh studio, the photographer’s time, artistic styling, professional editing, and a custom giant cupcake worth £85. - Minimum Spend on Images: £250
